Gymnasts at Becca’s Place Gymnastics take part in the gym’s annual Angel Tree shopping event

(November 23, 2022) — Gymnasts, their families, and the staff of Becca’s Place Gymnastics took part in the gymnastics center’s annual Angel Tree shopping event the day before Thanksgiving. The gymnasts raised over $5,700 as part of the team’s annual change for change competition and were able to shop for more than 50 children. Gym owners and sisters Jennifer Ryan and Jessika Bohannon-Ferriss call it their favorite service project of the year because it not only aligns with the gym’s core value of service but also coincides with their beloved sister’s birthday for whom the Cecilia gymnastics center is named. “She loved to serve others and so do we,” said Bohannon-Ferriss. “It is a great way to honor her memory, give back and remind our gymnasts about the importance of service to others.”
