Local Gymnasts Join Olympian Chellsie Memmel to Raise Money for Women and Girls

August 4, 2022Join Becca’s Place athletes and gymnasts from across the region for a meet and greet with Olympian and World Champion, Chellsie Memmel.
Event Details: During the event, hosted by Becca’s Place Gymnastics, guests will have the opportunity to join Olympian and World Gymnastics Champion, Chellsie Memmel, for a Q&A session and autograph signing. Doors open at 4:30 PM with the Q&A session to begin promptly at 5:00 PM. Guests will line up beginning at 5:30 PM for a photo opportunity and autograph signing with Chellsie.
All guests must purchase a ticket to attend. Ticket info is as follows:
- $25 per person (price includes a printed photo for the autograph signing and the opportunity to take photos with Chellsie)
- $15 guardian ticket (18+)
- Tickets may be purchased at the door for $35 per person / $20 guardian ticket (Note: These tickets will only be available if all advance tickets have not been sold)
About Chellsie Memmel: Chellsie Memmel is the 2005 world all-around champion and the 2003 world champion on the uneven bars. She was also a member of the United States women’s gymnastics team at the 2008 Olympics that won silver. With a total of seven World Championship and Olympic medals, Memmel is tied with Shawn Johnson as the seventh most decorated U.S. female gymnast.
After an eight-year break from the sport, Chellsie recently competed at the highest level of gymnastics. During her time away from competition, she married and had two children, making her return to elite competition even more remarkable.
Most recently, Chellsie Memmel, Alicia Sacramone Quinn, and longtime coach Dan Baker were named the leaders of the U.S. women’s gymnastics program by USA Gymnastics. Chellsie will serve as the technical lead, directing national team camps while providing technical and coaching oversight for the high-performance program.
