At Becca’s Place Gymnastics, we know gymnastics requires passion, perseverance, and sacrifice. Many of our athletes and staff devote years to training and teamwork, often putting other opportunities aside. The Becca’s Place Scholarship Fund honors that dedication by offering financial support as they pursue their goals beyond the gym.
Two-time World Champion and Olympic hopeful Shilese Jones, with coach Sarah Korngold, led a three-day summer camp at Becca’s Place Gymnastics. Over 100 local gymnasts received elite training and mentorship, culminating in the 'Shop for Shoes with Shilese' event, where participants helped provide back-to-school shoes for students in need—highlighting Becca’s Place’s commitment to both athletic excellence and community leadership.
Olympic silver medalist and World Champion Jordan Chiles visited Becca’s Place Gymnastics in summer 2023 to guest coach at the annual camp. She shared her expertise with the competitive team and helped raise funds for local charities, reflecting the gym’s commitment to both athletic excellence and community service.
Each year, Becca’s Place Gymnastics’ athletes participate in the Angel Tree shopping event, raising funds and shopping for local children in need. This tradition highlights the gym’s commitment to service, community, and honoring the legacy of giving that's at the heart of Becca’s Place. Since 2013, athletes and their families have donated more than $60,000 to the Angel Tree program through this initiative.
After an EF-4 tornado devastated AB Training Facility in Somerset, Becca’s Place Gymnastics led a statewide donation drive, rallying facilities across Kentucky to replace thousands of dollars in lost equipment. This effort reflects Becca’s Place’s mission to empower young athletes, foster community, and support opportunities for gymnastics everywhere.
